This is for those who don't have a dedicated sound card. This should work for most of the on-board audio devices and drivers you lot have. For those people with a dedicated sound card you can use your dedicated sound card's software to make the sound frequencies adjustments yourself.

The following directions only work if you have the drivers for your soundcard that support this feature.

    Right Click on the volume control icon near the clock on the taskbar.

    Left Click Playback Devices

    Left click the big picture of your default output device, probably a picture of a big speaker and then click properties

    In the window that opens, select the Enhancements tab.

    Check the box for "immediate mode" (Only on Windows 7 i think) then click apply if you want to test your settings as you change them.

    Look for an option in the list labeled, "Equalizer" or similar. Check that, then adjust the settings in the bottom half of the window (see the picture below).

http://i.stack.imgur.com/EadzM.png

31Hz =   +2.8 db
62Hz =   +0.0 db
125Hz = +2.4 db
250Hz = +7.1 db
500HZ =  +2.2 db
1KHZ =  +1.5 db
2KHZ =  +7.5 db
4KHZ =  +4.2 db
8KHZ = +12  db
16KHZ = +12  db

You guys might have different frequencies, The one above is for my dedicated sound card so for Cratebob these should work fucking sweet.

But for non-dedicated sound cards, you going to have to use this as a guide and play about with the frequencies you do have to find what you think works best for you.

I hope some of you have the same available frequencies to adjust.

That way it will work awesome.
The adjustments above are for Pipeline or weapons cache or similar maps.
I disable the adjustments for some other maps.

You will probably be a bit shocked at how different the game sounds at first, but it does make the sounds you actually want to hear more clear in my opinion.
